How I began my August....

I've always wanted to get involved in community and help the world to end hunger.  Last night I saw the post below in Tumblr.  As soon as I finished reading it, I did some research about UN World Food Programme.  When I confirmed it's an actual program, I decided to donate $10 to them without hesitating.  With 3-4 bucks, I can usually get a cup of cold coffee from Starbucks.  The value of ten dollars is certainly worth more than that to a lot of people who are suffering in starvation around our world.  With our help, they can live better.

  In this exciting month, I'll be moving to dorm, begin my college life, sharing a bedroom with a girl whom I never met, and much much more! My life will be a whole lot different and I can't wait :) 

Long Distance Relationships

The hardest part of distance is that it’s so easy to be jealous. It’s easy to envy people who get to see the person that you want to see everyday. You get jealous of people who flirt with that person because you can’t do that physically. You can’t hold hands, kiss them, like other people can. You just constantly worry that they will eventually get sick of the distance and leave you for someone better. The jealousy can really get to you. -Tumblr 


The fact is, nobody wants to be in a long distance relationship on purpose, unless he/she really wants to be with that person.  I honestly think that if you don't love that person enough, then there is no way for a long distance relationship to work out.  I have seen so many pairs of distance couples in real life.  Some of them ended up still being together and some of them...broke up, unsurprisingly.  So yeah, distance is a challenge to see how far love can travel. 

I'm a big fan of leggings.  I love wearing leggings because I found they are amazingly comfortable.  I accidentally got a stain on one of my favorite pair and it won't go away after I washed it.  Instead of throwing it away, I decided to make a transform.  So I ripped it. 

   

It didn't turned out the way I wanted...so I don't think I'm going to wear it.  Anyway, a nice try.

I feel that what I posted here don't match with the theme of this blog!
I'm currently taking Psychology online class.  The class started 2 days ago but I haven't done a single work because I'm still waiting for my textbook to be shipped and delivered!  I just finished Philosophy, did it online and got credit for it.  It sounds really easy but I don't like online class at all! It's boring and too much reading required!  Good thing is, I spent my 1st month of summer break pretty wisely.

I can't wait to shop for my dorm!  Got lots of coupons and ready to use them all! I have a long ass college checklist and limited money >.<  I'm gonna spend my time to do some research about laptops and smart phones before my textbooks arrive.  I know I'll be real busy cramming for tests and writing paper.  Stupid online class.
Ohh em gee! I really do want a new phone, perhaps a Samsung Galaxy or.... I don't know... SLOW DOWN, TECHNOLOGY.... geez!

umm I went shopping with my aunt yesterday.  There were big sale everywhere but I didn't buy much.  

I bought this Fairy drop mascara.  The package is ridiculously adorable ( I'm always a sucker for cute packaging!) I was all excited about this product but soon disappointed after I tried it on.  It didn't hold my curl =(

Fyi, I'm a mascara junkie.

I also bought 2 pairs of legging for my little niece.  I have no idea how big she is so I just grabbed whatever sizes I thought might fit her. hehe

And then, I had Roti Canai for dinner.  It came in a pack so it tasted nothing like the real one but it's all right, just to replenish my strong craving for Malaysian food.

A friend of mine sent me a photo of myself after she edited it with using Photoshop.  I was shocked when I saw it!  Look at those eyes! She added some obvious eyelashes and changed the color of eyes.  My eyes appear to be so different, in a good way but they look fake.
